Design Anthropologist

Visual researcher

Innovation strategist

My friends call me Majo.

Freelance Design Anthropologist deeply passionate about the intertwining realms of culture, space, and design. My career is dedicated to exploring and reshaping the ways we interact with our environments, with a particular focus on placemaking, foodscapes, and the broader scope of design. Currently, my energies are directed towards impactful initiatives in Mexico City, specifically Haikus de Barrio and Gastronomic Futures: Beyond Gentrification.

Through my journey as a Design Anthropologist, I am committed to employing design as a powerful tool for social innovation and community empowerment.

My Philosophy

I believe in the deep interconnectedness of everyone and everything; it's all about discovering these connections. When we ask questions we receive answers, but when we listen we share stories. It is through these narratives, rich in fundamental humanity, that my team and I can analyze data, culture, and political structures impacting your organization, services, and products.
